Essential Functions
A flexible schedule, including weekend availability, is necessary to fulfill operational requirements. This floater position is primarily responsible for supporting either the 1st and 2nd shifts, the 2nd and 3rd shifts, covering all shift transitions.
Cover the shifts assigned during the week in order to have a 24/7 operation.
Delegates, assigns and monitors scheduled assignments to ensure on time completion.
Focuses on quality over quantity by utilizing quality control checks, ensuring compliance with food safety and product quality protocols, and make sure trailers inspections are completed for safety, food safety and CTPAT purposes.
Oversees all inbound and outbound operations, including FTLs, LTLs (picking), and repacking processes, ensuring shipments are certified for quality control and loaded/unloaded efficiently.
Manages internal and external receiving, ensuring that inventory is accurate and received on time, and that all items are correctly identified and located, including reviewing available inventory and locations for possible updates.
Verify customer returns received are recorded accurately and returned to inventory stock in a timely manner.
Clearly communicate the Distribution Center's vision and objectives to the associates, ensuring the team achieves high-quality work in a positive environment guided by the Golden Rule.
Act as liaison between associates and management including, but not limited to, relaying new policies or expectations to associates and reporting incidents to management.
Ensure staff has up-to-date training, certifications and evaluations.
Keep records and files on all responsible areas and associates.
Monitor that all documentation is clear, neat and all information is accurate.
Enables a culture of safety by ensuring all safety protocols are followed within the distribution center to prevent possible incidents or accidents.
Report and correct any unsafe behaviors, conditions or equipment within the facility.
Conduct daily staff meetings.
Ensures a safe and organized facility by verifying that associates perform daily equipment checklists, maintain in good shaped assigned warehouse areas, and properly dispose of trash.
Make sure facility is secure before leaving the premises.
Supervises the order management workflow by ensuring all orders are allocated, released, and pulled in the WMS, and that all order statuses are updated in system by the end of the shift.
Send DC activity report in a Daily basis.
Conduct interviews and forklift driving tests for all new hires.
All other duties as assigned on a daily basis.

QualificationsEducation/Experience/Knowledge
High School Diploma
2 years of supervisory or warehouse lead experience preferred
Warehouse and Inventory management experience preferred
Able to coach, motivate, develop, engage and retain a team of associates
Food safety and Quality oriented
Able to lead others through change
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Skilled in organization and prioritization
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required
WMS / O-Cloud experience preferred but not required
Able to perform basic math
Knowledge of computer-based applications
Knowledge in Microsoft 360
Able to lift and maneuver cases over 50lbs continuously
