The Transformation Sr. Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic transformation initiatives across the Barcel USA Supply Chain organization. This role manages end-to-end project delivery, drives process optimization, develops business cases, and ensures the successful implementation of initiatives that improve service, profitability, operational efficiency, and supply chain capabilities.
This Sr. Manager serves as a change agent, influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders to accelerate transformation initiatives that span multiple business functions and geographic regions. This Manager will partner closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure sustainable business outcomes.
A critical focus of the position is improving supply chain profitability through logistics and transportation optimization, distribution network analysis, and the implementation of best practices aligned with Grupo Bimbo standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Project Leadership
Lead end-to-end management of supply chain transformation projects from concept through implementation and benefit realization.
Manage all aspects of project execution including charter development, project scoping, requirements gathering, business case development, project planning, governance, status reporting, issue resolution, risk management, and post-implementation reviews.
Develop and maintain project documentation, approvals, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Establish project governance frameworks and provide regular communication to leadership teams and stakeholders.
Change Management & Organizational Transformation
Serve as a culture change agent to promote continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new processes and technologies.
Influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels to drive alignment and accelerate project execution.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and support organizational readiness for transformational initiatives.
Lead change management activities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of business improvements.
Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization
Develop and implement strategies that improve overall supply chain profitability.
Identify opportunities to optimize transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics processes while maintaining customer service excellence.
Promote process optimization initiatives focused on delivering products On Time In Full (OTIF) at the optimal cost.
Lead supply chain network and distribution optimization studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction, service enhancement, and capacity improvement.
Evaluate and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
Business Case Development & Financial Analysis
Design and develop business cases that comply with Grupo Bimbo policies, standards, and financial requirements.
Perform financial evaluations including ROI, NPV, payback analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and benefits tracking.
Validate business benefits and ensure project outcomes achieve targeted financial and operational results.
Monitor project spending and resource utilization to ensure responsible budget management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
Partner with leadership teams to align transformation priorities with business objectives.
Facilitate communication and decision-making across diverse functional areas.
Support strategic initiatives that require coordination across multiple business units and geographic locations.
QualificationsQualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred.
Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Transformation Management.
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects and change management initiatives.
Experience developing business cases and conducting financial analysis to support strategic investments.
Demonstrated success implementing supply chain optimization and operational improvement initiatives.
Experience working in a large, matrixed, multinational organization preferred.
