Job Description 

Banco Sabadell is seeking a Private Banking Officer to join a dynamic new team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida. 

Responsibilities 

  • Establish periodical contact with existing and potential private banking & personal banking customers for the assigned target regions, whether through onsite calls, in writing or electronically, with a view towards maintaining and expanding their business dealings with the bank in general and the Branch in particular. Traveling as necessary.
  • Servicing primarily the private banking customers & personal banking customers by ensuring timely and accurate resolution of operational and relational problems experienced with them and/or their transactions with the Branch.
  • Identify, analyse, evaluate and review on an ongoing basis the investor profile of each and every assigned customer with whom an advised or managed account relationship exist.
  • Make any and all necessary efforts and diligences leading to an adequate knowledge of the bank's customers, so as to reasonably establish from time to time the legitimacy and soundness of their character and transactions.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the treasury and investment function to render quality investment management, advisory and execution services.
  • Actively participate in the operational improvement, depth and breadth of the Branch's private banking offering, making suggestions and participating in their implementation as necessary or required.
  • Liaise and coordinate with other bank representatives to obtain as many leads and contacts in a particular market as possible, arranging meetings, making presentations and following up on them. Also, use such representatives to maintain and expand existing relationships.
  • Monitor the performance and structure of customer portfolios, obtaining and issuing instructions as appropriate to maintain such portfolios within customer approved parameters and guidelines. Also, validate and/or supervise correspondence, statements and advice intended for customers.
  • Adhere to the codes of ethics, rules and regulations applicable to the marketing, distribution and administration of investment services.
  • Issue and manage investment orders to buy, sell or transfer securities for private banking customers, ensuring a fair and prompt execution of any such orders.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
