FT Hourly Onsite

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the professional, efficient, safe and courteous delivery of products to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure that all work performed with or for our customers, suppliers and employees is done in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Work with Distribution Center team to ensure all product is pulled, staged, and verified as indicated by the work order.
- Verify that staged material is the same material, quantity, and lot number indicated on the bill of lading.
- Prepare product for shipment according to listed customer requirements.
- Load and brace material into delivery vehicle in accordance with established Department of Transportation standards.
- Document and file pre- and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle
- Deliver products to customers.
- Assist in Warehouse duties as directed.
- Assist in the overall housekeeping and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Assist, as directed, in all emergency response operations, including spill clean-up and waste disposal.
- Work with DC Manager for proper fleet upkeep and maintenance.
- Report any known or suspected safety hazard.
- All other duties as assigned by management.

- Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Education and Experience:
- 3 or more years work experience with job responsibilities similar to or related to the above listed duties and responsibilities.
- Trained and certified in the operation of a forklift.
- Be physically able to effectively perform labor intensive activities on a daily basis.
- Be subject to random drug and alcohol tested as directed by Management.
- Be able to effectively work in a team-based environment, where all team members hold themselves mutually accountable.
- Basic reading and writing skills.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Time Management software, comprehension of GPS software, etc. The individual must also be able to manage frequent usage of email.
Physical Demands:
Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. various times during work shift
