About this role

We are looking for two Senior Product Engineers with 3+ years of experience to join Axle as an early team member and help build the AI-native clearinghouse for insurance data. Your work will powering mission-critical insurance verification for Fortune 500 companies like Hertz, Avis, and Audi. We need someone who operates with high agency, and is excited about taking abstract projects end-to-end in a fast-growing environment. Axle has grown revenue 5x this year and just raised a $17.5M Series A led by Base10.

What will you be doing?

Building industry-first evals for insurance data extractors and transformers

Orchestrating self-healing agents that automatically improve over time

Integrating context and understanding to standardize high-variability insurance data points

Driving engineering design decisions and mentoring junior engineers

Managing data hierarchy and orchestration across overlapping data ingestors
