Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct client consultations to assess health history and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Keep accurate records of treatments and client progress
- Adhere to all licensing, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current massage therapy license in accordance with state or local regulations
- Proven experience in providing various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
