Job Summary:
 

The Client Relations Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining recurring and ad hoc reporting for the Client Relations team.  This role serves as a subject matter expert for the department on data analysis and Excel-based reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency of client-facing and internal reports, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decisions across Client Relations leadership and staff.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inbound/outbound telephone customer service, handle support emails, research, resolve, and record problems.
  • Assist IT, Project Implementation Team, QA, Client Service Managers and Clients in the development processes for system enhancements, system QA and UAT test plans and tasks, new clients/products, and procedures.
  • Format and prepare reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to complete tasks with aggressive deadlines, ability to work on multiple projects at one time and with little supervision.
  • Will be required to make presentations to upper management, customer and other employees as required.
  • Confers with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and gather suggestions for improvements.
  • Recommends establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
  • Additional responsibilities are assigned as deemed necessary on a weekly/daily basis.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Relevant experience in reporting, data analysis, or business analytics is a plus..
  • Experience in client relations, customer support, or tax administration is a plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including pivot tables and complex formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH); experience with macros/VBA and Power Query is a plus, and training will be provided to build advanced skills on the job.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with reporting or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
  • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
  • The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
