 Shipping Clerk – 2^nd Shift

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Completes and distributes paperwork and forms, specifically the following:
• Enters and files shippers.
• Runs shipper log.
• Creates pick sheets.
• Creates master bill of lading.
• Prints and distributes daily JIT.
• Checks edit list to match pick sheet.
• Sets up SOS’s  (ship order slips)
• Maintains files and answers phones.  Able to talk to customers and suppliers.
• Verifies ASN (advance shipper notice) transmission.
• Verifies incoming raw materials and cycle counts raw material and makes adjustments as necessary. Scans orders into system.
• Loads, unloads, stages, and transports materials, customer freight, empty containers, and OSP freight.
• Weighs and tags incoming/outgoing materials and records required information
• Completes daily safety and operational checks.
• Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
• Certifications/Licenses: Will require an active Forklift License via Company

PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:

• 2nd shift, 2pm – 10pm Monday - Friday with OT on weekends as required
• $21.00 per hour 
• Union Facility - Member of UAW local 2000 

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Materials department and reports to the Materials Supervisor and Manager.
