Biotechnologist (Microfluidic Chip Production)

We are seeking a Biotechnologist to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role you will be responsible for the high-quality production of our innovative products by executing and optimizing biotechnological processes through hands-on lab work. You will strive here if you are detail-oriented, committed to quality, proactive in problem-solving and adaptable to the challenges of a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• A degree in life sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory and/or production environment.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when following protocols and working with small-scale processes and materials.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• English and Lithuanian language skills at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to occasionally work adjusted shifts during exceptional peak production periods.
• Ability to work while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

 
What would make you stand out:

• Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. OOP concepts, JSON) and an interest in maintaining or adapting simple internal production tools.
• Confidence using AI tools to troubleshoot technical issues; basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ERP planning modules or production planning processes.
• Produce microfluidic chips under controlled environmental conditions.
• Perform product quality control and ensure products meet defined quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and deviations in microfluidic chip production.
• Participate in process improvement and optimization activities.
• Manage reagent and material inventory.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and production efficiency.
