The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays an important role in bringing the Atlas experience to life at Loch Bar Philadelphia. Partnering closely with the General Manager, this leader helps create an environment where team members feel supported, empowered, and inspired to deliver exceptional hospitality every day. The AGM is a hands-on leader who helps guide the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, supporting the team across service execution, scheduling, inventory, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and overall operational success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, builds strong relationships, and is always willing to roll up their sleeves and jump in wherever needed. What You'll Do

  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily front-of-house 
  • Lead, coach, and support restaurant supervisors and team members, including providing direction on scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow.
  • Maintain a strong presence throughout the dining room and kitchen to support service, employees, and guests.
  • Assist with labor management, payroll, budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial accountability.
  • Support daily cash handling, receipts, bank deposits, invoices, and other financial processes.
  • Assist with beverage ordering, inventory, organization, and accountability.
  • Support ordering and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for restaurant supplies.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and a hospitality-first mindset.
  • Assist with creating schedules and forecasting daily and weekly business needs.
  • Lead or support pre-shift meetings and reinforce service standards and company expectations.
  • Train and mentor team members by demonstrating best practices and proper service protocols.
  • Be prepared to support and demonstrate the responsibilities of various restaurant positions, including server, busser, food runner, bartender, and host.
  • Support restaurant marketing and business development efforts as needed.
  • Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Jump into service and assist with any restaurant-related responsibilities as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fine dining, upscale, or high-volume hospitality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of seafood, wine, spirits, and culinary practices is preferred.
  • Strong financial awareness and attention to detail.
  • A flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and restaurant technology.
  • Experience with systems such as Toast, ADP Workforce Now, Restaurant365, PayDay Portal, Avero, or XtraChef is a plus.
  • ServSafe certification is required.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

Total Rewards
The base salary range for this role is 
$50,000-$95,000, aligned with your experience, leadership scope, and the impact you bring to the business.
