About this role
We are looking for a Frontend Member of Technical Staff with 7+ years of experience to join a 25-person team building the next great consumer platform powered by generative AI. You'll be a senior IC (L6 equivalent) who can come in and help scale astrocade.com as the company gears up for its US launch. Think of it like joining YouTube in 2005 — high ownership, zero politics, and the architectural challenges of a platform already serving 40M+ users. You'll report to the founding frontend engineer and work alongside a world-class team backed by Sequoia, Google, and NVIDIA with $100M+ in the bank.
What will you be doing?
Own and build core user-facing features across the creation and discovery experiences on astrocade.com using React, Next.js, and React Native
Solve scaling and performance challenges as the platform doubles users every three months (currently 40M+ users, 200M+ gameplays/month)
Work across the full frontend stack — from caching and server pages on Vercel to authentication and connecting frontend to backend services
Ship new features daily in a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment with high autonomy and direct impact
