Director of Customer Marketing & Community
About this role
We are looking for a Director of Customer Marketing & Community with 7-10 years of experience to build Assort Health's customer advocacy engine from the ground up. This is a true zero-to-one opportunity — you'll create the programs, infrastructure, and relationships that turn customer success into company growth at one of healthcare AI's fastest-growing companies. You'll build trusted relationships with healthcare executives and transform their outcomes into compelling stories, reference programs, peer communities, and strategic proof points that accelerate pipeline. If you love building from scratch, thrive in high-growth environments, and get energized by turning customer enthusiasm into commercial momentum, this role is for you.
What will you be doing?
Build a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) from scratch — recruit members, design the charter, and schedule the first engagements
Stand up a customer reference program and evidence production cadence, shipping case studies, testimonials, and video content on a predictable schedule
Create a customer speaker bureau — identify, prep, and place customers at flagship events, webinars, and press opportunities
Embed customer proof points across every go-to-market motion including website, sales collateral, ABM campaigns, and executive communications
Build the reporting framework to track advocacy program impact on pipeline, references delivered, stories shipped, and community engagement
