JOB TITLE: Quality Control Process Writer

EMPLOYER: AssistRx

REPORTS TO: Manager, QA

EFFECTIVE DATE: 06/22/2026

SUMMARY: This position will work with the Process Documentation Team to review process documentation for completeness, accuracy, grammar, and consistency with internal corporate standards and style guides. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform quality assurance on documentation such as Work Instructions, Program Rules Documents, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
  • Work closely with the Process Writing team to edit, proof-read, and ensure that documentation is formatted correctly, in the right format and template, follows all internal style guides and industry standards. 
  • Provide support for audits of documentation. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and processes, and train and support staff in adhering to quality assurance standards.


Requirements:

  • Editing experience.
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ year experience in QA
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong writing skills and excellent overall communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively. 
  • Knowledge of or training in complying with 508 standards for documentation. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word.

Nice to Haves:

  • Technical or process writing background.
  • Previous experience with auditing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
