About this role
(Boston, MA) Principal Associate Scientist sought by Ascidian Therapeutics, Inc. to
design, validate, execute, and interpret experiments to improve therapeutic performance
of designer RNA editing molecules & contribute to characterization of drug candidates to
support Ascidian’s Roche Collaboration. Req.’s Master’s Deg. in Molecular/Cellular
Bio., Bio. Chem. or rel. field & 3 yrs rel. exp. or Bach’s Deg. & 5 yrs rel. exp. Must have
experience in RNA therapeutics with a focus on pre-mRNA splicing and protein
translation; designing and cloning RNA exon-editing molecules and designing assays to
measure RNA editing; optimization and preparation of custom Illumina libraries;
bioinformatic analysis of the libraries; cell culture, ddPCR, qPCR and protein extraction
and characterization by JESS and western blot, Sanger sequence analysis; use of
sequence design and analysis software.

Salary: $ 112,017 to $118,400 per year.
The final salary offer will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, specific skills, and internal equity.
