Position Summary
We are seeking a part time motivated and skilled Aesthetician to join our team. As an Aesthetician, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of advanced skincare treatments, such as facials, chemical peels, laser therapies, microdermabrasion, and other non-invasive procedures. Tailoring each service to meet the unique needs and aesthetic goals of clients, you will ensure that they experience the highest standard of care. Collaboration with medical professionals is key to providing comprehensive care and achieving optimal results for each client. Additionally, you will educate clients on effective skincare routines and post-treatment care, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment to enhance their overall experience.
Key Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Skincare Consultations: Assess client needs, set goals, and create personalized treatment plans.
- Facial & Skincare Treatments: Perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and other non-invasive services.
- Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Offer services like microneedling, laser treatments, and radiofrequency (based on qualifications).
- Medical-Grade Skincare Recommendations: Recommend and educate clients on professional skincare products.
- Post-Treatment Care: Provide aftercare guidance to ensure optimal results and minimize risks.
- Patient Experience: Build strong client relationships through excellent service and personalized advice.
- Maintaining Sterility & Cleanliness: Ensure tools and treatment areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the spa and medical team to enhance the client experience.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with trends and innovations in skincare and aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Completion of a state-licensed cosmetology or esthetician program.
- Proven experience performing skincare treatments, facials, and advanced aesthetic procedures.
- Prior experience in a spa, dermatology, or medical aesthetics setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and post-treatment care.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Aesthetician (required).
- Certification in advanced skincare treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser therapy) may be required.
- Certification in specialized treatments (e.g., laser, micro-needling) may be required based on local regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and education.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
