Arora Engineers, LLC provides design and construction services for MEP, fire protection and alarm systems, and low-voltage/special systems for aviation, transportation, educational, commercial, and institutional facilities.
Overall Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Construction Program Specialist to support a portfolio of construction projects for the United States Postal Service (USPS) under a large, multi-project contract.
This position serves as a primary liaison between the client, contractors, Construction Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments. The Construction Program Specialist helps ensure projects run smoothly by supporting schedules, processing project documentation, tracking budgets, coordinating logistics, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
The role is responsible for supporting timely decision-making and ensuring project information and documentation are complete, accurate, organized, and distributed appropriately throughout the project lifecycle.
This position may require occasional evening or weekend availability in the event of project-related emergencies, including responding to emails or completing computer-based work.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to independently support Construction Managers by facilitating the timely flow of information between the field, client, and internal departments.

Effectively support and coordinate multiple concurrent construction projects in partnership with the Construction Manager
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Maintain organized, audit-ready project records and documentation, including keeping Procore information current
Adapt to fast-paced, process-driven environments, including federal or program-based projects
Collaborate effectively across disciplines to support overall project delivery
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
QualificationsQualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a vocational, technical, or trade school program in construction, engineering technology, drafting, project management, or a related field is preferred
An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience will be considered
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, including exposure to construction administration
Ability to track and maintain project information, including RFIs, invoices and billing, delivery dates, client milestones, and project stakeholder/contact information
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including email and folder management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal or program-based contracts, including USPS or other government agencies
Familiarity with construction management software, such as Procore
Basic knowledge of construction drawings and plan reading
Familiarity with common construction terminology and documentation, including RFIs, retainage, certified payroll, daily and weekly reports, and scopes of work
Key Skills and Competencies
Ability to track RFIs, project milestones, invoices, billing, delivery dates, and other key project activities
Ability to effectively coordinate with Construction Managers, contractors, clients, and internal teams
Understanding of change management and risk mitigation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email
Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills
Ability to maintain accurate project calendars and stakeholder/contact information across multiple projects
Ability to prepare and process purchase requests through Procurement
Ability to assist with planning and tracking hours for Construction Management teams
Working knowledge of construction terminology and project documentation
Ability to understand and respond appropriately to client priorities and time-sensitive requests
Basic knowledge of construction plans and drawings
Ability to organize and facilitate weekly client/site meetings, including reviewing weekly reports and tracking outstanding action items
Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Occasional availability outside of standard business hours to support urgent project needs
Procore experience is preferred; training will be provided as needed
