Armor Metal Group is seeking a Parts Specialist - Aftermarket to join our team. In this critical customer-facing role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for aftermarket parts inquiries, quotations, and order fulfillment. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, service contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate solutions, exceptional service, and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do
As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for generating and processing parts sales orders from initial inquiry through final shipment while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to aftermarket parts, pricing, availability, and technical support.
- Review customer requirements and align technical specifications with company products and capabilities.
- Validate customer requirements and recommend modifications or alternative solutions when appropriate.
- Develop accurate quotations through pricing analysis and estimating tools.
- Follow up on quotes to secure orders and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Answer technical questions and provide product recommendations that build customer confidence and trust.
- Process RFQs, spare parts orders, and machine rebuild parts orders.
- Enter and manage orders while monitoring progress to ensure on-time delivery.
- Proactively communicate order status updates and resolve issues that may impact delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer concerns related to invoicing, pricing, incorrect shipments, freight charges, and order discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain new customer accounts.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer operations, markets, and business needs.
- Become a product expert capable of communicating product features, benefits, and applications.
- Prioritize multiple customer requests while maintaining exceptional accuracy and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, service contractors, and other Armor divisions to deliver the best possible customer experience.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimating experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, fabrication, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of capital equipment, industrial machinery, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
- 1-4 years of customer service, sales support, or office management experience.
- Experience serving as a primary customer contact.
- Experience supporting customers through problem resolution and order management.
