Are you a current or retired law enforcement professional looking to serve your local community in a meaningful way? Arlington Properties is seeking a Courtesy Officer to help maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at one of our vibrant multifamily communities.
This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to supplement your income, build rapport with residents, and enjoy the benefit of rent discounts while continuing to make a positive impact.
What You’ll Do
Maintain a visible presence throughout the property by walking the grounds daily
Respond to noise complaints and help de-escalate situations professionally
Assist residents with lockouts and other non-emergency needs
Monitor common areas like pools, laundry rooms, and fitness facilities
Check lighting and report maintenance needs to the management team
Observe and report vandalism, suspicious activity, or vehicle violations
Support overall community safety through routine patrols
Contact local law enforcement when appropriate, in accordance with policy

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
Active or retired law enforcement officer OR military background
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain calm and professionalism in all situations
Detail-oriented with excellent observational skills
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and follow company policies
