Archer Meat Snacks is seeking a dependable Shuttle Driver/Warehouse Associate to keep our products moving — from loading, staging, and inventory control on the warehouse floor to safely driving our non-CDL box truck between facilities, distribution centers, and customer sites. You'll play a hands-on role in our food manufacturing operation, handling everything from pallet building and cycle counts to pre-trip vehicle inspections and temperature-controlled deliveries. With a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability, this role keeps our supply chain running and our customers stocked. With a competitive pay range of $21.00–$26.00/hr in San Bernardino or $22.00–$27.00/hr in Vernon, this role offers steady, full-time work with a growing, fast-moving snack brand.
This position splits time between the warehouse floor and the road. Most days you’ll load, unload, and stage product using pallet jacks and forklifts, build and wrap pallets, and keep inventory accurate. You’ll also drive a non-CDL straight/box truck (no trailer) between our facility, distribution centers, and customer sites — verifying shipments, securing cargo, and keeping accurate delivery records along the way.
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts; pick, stage, and organize product
- Build, wrap, and label pallets; complete inventory and cycle counts; verify SKU and lot codes
- Prepare shipping and receiving paperwork and keep warehouse records accurate and up to date
- Drive a company straight/box truck between Archer facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; secure cargo with load bars, straps, and E-track
- Follow temperature-control procedures for perishable product and all food-safety/sanitation guidelines
- Communicate with dispatch and report any accidents, damage, or safety concerns immediately
What You’ll Need
- Valid California Class C (non-commercial) driver’s license in good standing, with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
- At least 5 years of licensed driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work comfortably in food production and cold-storage environments
- Comfortable safely maneuvering a straight/box truck (up to 26,000 lbs GVWR) in tight yards and loading docks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior delivery, warehouse, or driving experience is a plus
- Strong time management and basic math/record-keeping skills
- Fluent English required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods, including in refrigerated/cold-storage areas
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
