About this role
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care while assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident needs while preserving dignity, privacy, and resident rights.
- Monitor residents' health and report changes in condition promptly to the nursing team.
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility using proper equipment and techniques.
- Support residents' nutritional needs, hydration, and overall comfort in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment by following all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with nurses, rehabilitation staff, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality resident care.
- Accurately document resident care and participate in ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Certification
