About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG Welding of medical components for fabrication and manual machining.
  • Perform multiple finishing and grooming functions including Bead blast, Red and Grey Wheel, Satin/Matte Finishing, Dremel, Filing, and Bader Sander.
  • Detects and reports discrepancies or questionable conditions to the Department Supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Assists with training of new team members and other operators.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.
  • Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years welding experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • TIG welding certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, and hand gauges for dimensional inspection.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional hand/eye coordination.
  • Must have vision acuity of 20/30 or better in either eye and shall be able to read the Jaeger No.2 Eye Chart at 16 in. Natural or corrected vision may be used to achieve eye test requirements.

  • Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
