Arbor Therapy is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide pediatric home and community-based services throughout the Greater Phoenix area and Tucson.

As an independent contractor, you can select the geographic service areas and referrals that align with your availability. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP seeking flexibility, clinical autonomy, and access to an established multidisciplinary therapy network.

About the Opportunity

Home Health SLPs provide evaluations and ongoing speech-language therapy in clients' homes and approved community settings. Contractors independently manage their accepted caseloads, coordinate appointments with families, complete required documentation, and provide individualized, family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders within the SLP's professional scope of practice
• Develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based approaches
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate
• Educate parents and caregivers on strategies that promote carryover and continued progress
• Coordinate with families and other professionals involved in the client's care
• Complete accurate clinical documentation within required timeframes
• Maintain timely communication regarding scheduling, client status, and continuity of care
• Comply with applicable payer, regulatory, clinical, and documentation requirements
• Maintain all professional credentials and required contractor documentation

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent degree from an accredited college or university
• Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current CPR certification
• Current Article 9 certification, when required for the assigned client population
• Current professional liability insurance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel safely to clients' homes and approved community locations
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, and time-management skills
• Professional, dependable, and family-centered approach to care
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric home health or early-intervention experience
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience providing pediatric feeding intervention
• Bilingual skills

Physical and Working Requirements

Services are delivered in clients' homes and community environments. The work may require sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting or carrying therapy materials. Contractors may work with clients who have physical, developmental, sensory, medical, or behavioral support needs.

Compensation

Compensation is paid on a per-visit basis and varies based on the client's service location. Specific rates will be provided before the contractor accepts a referral.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and does not constitute an offer of employment. Contractors establish their availability, may accept or decline offered referrals, and are responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, transportation, and professional expenses. Contractors must maintain all credentials required to provide contracted services. Referral volume is based on client demand, geographic availability, and organizational needs and is not guaranteed.
