Job Description:

Principal Responsibilities

  • Maintains the overall health and appearance of the customers' lawn & landscape by applying treatments at the proper time and proper rates to deliver the best results.

  • Provides professional, prompt, and courteous customer service

  • Applies fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions

  • Performs seasonal aeration & overseeding using designated equipment

  • Keeps up to date on the company's product and service offerings

  • Drives a company vehicle safely to customer's homes and businesses

  • Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance

  • Performs daily DOT truck inspections

  • Completes required paperwork along with proper communication

  • Maintains company phone and any equipment associated with it

  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness of facility

  • Represents Killingsworth with honesty and integrity

  • Maintains a professional appearance

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Able and willing to work in various weather conditions

  • Ability to operate lawn application equipment safely & effectively

  • Technical proficiency with computers, smartphones, etc.

  • You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Valid driver's license

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Requires 1 -3 years of experience in the lawn/landscape industry

  • SC Ground Pesticide Applicator License is a plus but not required
