Dishwasher

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and efficient Dishwasher to join our team at The Halston Restaurant. As a Dishwasher, you will be key to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Ensure that all items are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area and kitchen. Regularly clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to support a sanitary work environment.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and garbage, ensuring that trash and recycling bins are emptied regularly.
• Supply Management: Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Assist in restocking supplies as needed.
• Assistance: Support kitchen staff and servers by promptly providing clean dishes and utensils during busy service periods. Assist with additional kitchen tasks as needed.
• Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures. Adhere to restaurant policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
