Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a task-oriented, motivated, and customer service minded Office/Billing Clerk in our Accounting Department. The Billing Clerk processes billing of all new and used vehicle deals, verifying all policies, money down, trade information and necessary paperwork. Routes vehicle transactions and ensures the proper completion of related documentation through the accounting office.
Essential Responsibilities (not limited to)
Perform basic and routine accounting functions
Submit and cancel all-over-the counter, submit aftermarket/extended warranty products
Process extended warranty cancellations.
Maintain and reconcile schedules
Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
Complete specific tasks assigned by manager
Assist in processing car deals
Issue checks for lien payoffs and submit to financial institutions
Reviewing deal paperwork for compliance
Coordinates changes to recaps with FI
Bill out dealer trades
Bill out wholesale
Other special projects or duties requested by Controller, General Manager, or Officers of the Company
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service, administrative, cashier, or office experience is a plus but not required.
Basic knowledge of automotive dealerships or vehicle titles is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Ability to perform repetitive typing and filing tasks.
