About the Role:
The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements assembly processes that meet customer requirements, quality standards, cost objectives, and labor plans. This role will lead the implementation of new processes, equipment, tooling, automation, and robotics from development through launch. The Manufacturing Engineer partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to product design, manufacturability, quality, and assembly processes while supporting the adoption of new technologies and continuous process improvements that increase efficiency, throughput, quality, and reliability. This position manages Manufacturing Engineering activities in alignment with the Process Development System and established program timelines and coordinates with plant, engineering, quality, PC&L, suppliers, and launch teams to deliver robust, efficient, and reliable production processes.
What You Need To Be Successful:
- 3+ years of experience in assembly and/or manufacturing, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- 2+ years of experience working with APQP systems and quality tools such as PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of tooling, equipment, automation, engineering specifications, cost reduction, and automotive assembly applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of IATF quality systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with sequencing, sub-assembly, shipping and receiving, or related automotive manufacturing operations.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD, GD&T, equipment certification, run-off, OEE, and manufacturing launch activities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering

- Minimal travel required
