Role Overview:

The Digital QA/Accessibility Testing Analyst performs manual quality assurance and accessibility testing for assigned websites, portals, and digital experiences to help ensure releases meet functional requirements and conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards, including requirements governed by Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. This professional-level role applies working knowledge of digital accessibility guidelines, assistive technologies, and testing tools to identify defects, document findings, support remediation, and validate fixes across digital platforms. The role partners with content, design, development, compliance, and business stakeholders to support consistent release quality, accessible user experiences, and timely remediation or removal of outdated web content and PDF documents that conflict with accessibility standards, user needs, or contractual requirements.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid- Associate must be in the office at least three (3) days per week, including core days of Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • For roles that are 100% remote or hybrid, you must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support daily job responsibilities. A minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required. Those fully remote associates residing in states where service is required by contract, law, or regulation will be allowed to submit for reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual QA testing across assigned websites, portals, and digital releases; validate requirements, user flows, forms, links, navigation, and functional performance; document test results and escalate release-blocking defects or quality risks as needed.
  • Perform accessibility testing to verify conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA and applicable Section 504/508 standards; identify accessibility issues, recommend remediation approaches, validate fixes, and support accessibility best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create, log, and manage defects using clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, environment details, severity, and supporting evidence; partner with developers and stakeholders through triage, retest, and closure.
  • Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, mobile, and assistive technology testing to help ensure consistent, accessible digital experiences; support use of repeatable testing practices as a standard release-readiness step.
  • Partner with content teams, compliance partners, and business stakeholders to identify outdated web pages and non-compliant PDFs; support remediation or removal recommendations when content conflicts with accessibility standards, user needs, or contractual requirements.
  • Contribute to QA and accessibility documentation, SOPs, testing standards, templates, audit-support materials, and knowledge-sharing resources; help improve repeatable processes and team readiness for ongoing compliance.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting QA/accessibility testing for websites or digital experiences in a health care or other regulated environment is preferred.
  • 1+ years of QA/accessibility testing using WCAG 2.2 (A/AA) standards required.

Other Skills:

  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 (A/AA) concepts and the ability to apply accessibility requirements during testing and remediation validation.
  • Experience using accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies such as ANDI, WAVE, color contrast analyzers, screen readers, keyboard-only testing, and browser developer tools.
  • DHS Trusted Tester Certification preferred.
  • Experience performing manual web QA testing for links, forms, navigation, responsiveness, usability, and content presentation, with the ability to document results in a consistent, repeatable format.
  • Ability to create clear, actionable defect tickets, including steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, severity, platform or browser details, and supporting evidence.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Workfront.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and common web structures to support effective testing, issue identification, and communication with development teams.
  • Strong collaboration, consulting, and communication skills to partner effectively with content teams, developers, compliance partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to support QA and accessibility processes, templates, SOPs, and documentation that promote consistent, scalable testing practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, sound judgment, and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Experience in health care and/or other regulated industries is preferred.
