AI Product Engineer, Clinical AI
About this role
We are looking for an AI Product Engineer with 3+ years of experience to build the technical foundation of our agentic clinical platform. You are a product-minded full-stack engineer who moves comfortably between applied AI, backend systems, and user-facing surfaces. You'll own meaningful capabilities from early prototype through production — designing the context management, tool use, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows that allow AI systems to complete complex clinical tasks safely. This is a high-impact role at a seed-stage company backed by top healthcare and AI investors, where your work will directly shape how clinicians deliver better care to chronic disease patients.
What will you be doing?
Build and evolve the agentic clinical platform — including context management, tool use, orchestration, permissions, memory, and human-in-the-loop workflows
Prototype new clinical AI experiences rapidly and turn the strongest ideas into production-quality software used by real clinicians
Design evaluations, regression suites, and launch criteria that measure task success, clinical quality, reliability, safety, latency, and cost
Build observability across model behavior, tool calls, traces, errors, and end-to-end workflow outcomes to make agent behavior easier to debug and improve
Partner closely with clinicians, product leaders, and engineers to translate real clinical workflows into thoughtful, trustworthy software
