About the Role
As a Senior Impact Manager, you will play a key role in integrating impact throughout Swedfund’s investment process – from initial assessments, due diligence and investment decisions to portfolio management and exit.

Act as a senior impact expert throughout the investment lifecycle, from initial investment assessments to due diligence to exit
Assess, measure and communicate development impact at the investment and portfolio levels and identify opportunities and provide recommendations to strengthen development outcomes.
Develop and apply Impact Management and Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) frameworks, KPIs and theories of change
Lead post-investment impact monitoring, evaluation and evidence-based analysis
Support portfolio companies in developing and implementing impact frameworks
Contribute to the continued development of Swedfund’s impact methods, processes and tools, especially within the climate and nature investments
Represent Swedfund in senior internal and external meetings
Coach and mentor colleagues within the Impact team and across the organisation

Deep impact expertise is at the core of this role, complemented by a solid understanding of investment processes and decision-making.
Experience from financial institutions, development finance, impact investing, responsible investment or consulting is highly relevant.
International experience from Swedfund’s core geographies outside Europe is highly valued, particularly from Asia. Experience with large or complex transactions and multi-stakeholder environments is an advantage.
You are likely to be:
Strategic, analytical and evidence-driven
A credible senior advisor with the ability to influence investment decisions
An excellent communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders and high-level forums and able to navigate and articulate complex impact considerations into simple terms
