ALLY Psychiatry is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage at Fair Oaks Pavilion Behavioral Health at Delray Beach Medical Center in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for flexible PRN work while making a meaningful impact in an established inpatient behavioral health program.

The Opportunity

• PRN Psychiatrist position
• Coverage primarily needed for weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage
• 59-bed inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatric facility
• Inpatient psychiatric care with additional medical floor and Emergency Department consultations
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and potentially psychiatric residents
• Established clinical environment with a collaborative treatment team
• W2 or 1099 

Clinical Responsibilities

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult and geriatric patients in the inpatient setting. Responsibilities may include:

• Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Daily inpatient rounds and treatment planning
• Collaboration with NPs/PAs and other members of the care team
• Consultation services on the medical floors
• Psychiatric consultations in the Emergency Department
• Coordination of care and discharge planning
• Supervision and collaboration with psychiatric residents, when applicable

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
• Comfortable treating adult and geriatric psychiatric patients
• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
• Comfortable providing psychiatric consultation services
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Florida medical license or eligibility
