Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Tech to join our rehabilitation team in Livermore, CA. The Rehab Tech will assist therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. This role supports the delivery of therapeutic treatments and helps ensure a safe and effective rehabilitation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists with patient care and therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor patients during therapy activities and report any concerns to the therapist.
• Help patients with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and workspaces.
• Document patient progress and assist with administrative tasks as directed.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in rehabilitation technology or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and perform job duties.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clinical rehabilitation setting in Livermore, CA. The role may require standing for extended periods and assisting patients with physical activities.
