Dental Assistant – Chesaning Family Dental
We're looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is dependable, energetic, and enjoys being part of a great team!
A Little About Us
Chesaning Family Dental is an established private family practice in Chesaning. We have a wonderful team, an amazing Doctor, and a practice that truly puts our patients and our team first. We're looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive office.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with the Doctor and team to help provide a great experience for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Assisting the Doctor with procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments
- Taking and documenting intraoral photographs
- Thoroughly charting treatment and patient information
- Pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
- Fabricating temporary restorations
- Cleaning and polishing removable appliances
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment rooms
- Following OSHA and infection control guidelines
- Answering patient questions and helping them feel informed and comfortable
- Pitching in wherever needed and being a positive part of the team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- A certified or experienced Dental Assistant
- Current in CPR certification
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy dental office
- Friendly and personable with patients
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Available to work our Monday–Thursday schedule
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: No Fridays at this time, but this could change in the future
