Stakeholder Engagement Specialist (Evergreen – Fulltime)

What You'll Do
- Research, coordinate, and prepare briefing documents, outlines, talking points and presentations for client stakeholder outreach events and other speaking engagements for managers and technical experts.
- Maintain event tracking and stakeholder lists through CRM tools.
- Support stakeholder engagement team at events, briefings, speaking tours and workshops, including, but not limited to, helping with registration, developing materials, and notetaking.
- Track, analyze, measure, and report on the effectiveness of the various outreach programs and events.
- Arrange and prepare client stakeholder engagement events and activities with government agencies, commercial partners, nonprofits, and academia to build awareness of the client’s mission and programs.
- Work internally to collect and supplement program and project information to gain maximum benefit and insight from the available resources, communications products and data analysis.
- Plan and oversee administration and follow-up in relation to stakeholder outreach events and tactics, such as speaking tours, calling plans and workshops. Provide direct support at such events and for related programs.
- Identify stakeholders, prepare invite list, and invite participants to events, including speaking tours and workshops in concert with other relevant partners.
- Manage ongoing outreach projects such as social media monitoring and customer satisfaction analysis as well as undertaking ad-hoc research projects.
- Manage and undertake regular research reporting, including monthly/quarterly research updates, reports, and presentations.
- Lead stakeholder engagement strategic planning and implementation activities on behalf of client, including identifying priority stakeholders, goals, outreach tactics, and outcomes.
- Support clients in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support short-term and long-term engagement goals. Identify opportunities to increase reach.
- Analyze tactics and develops best practices and new strategies to support client goals.
- Maintain awareness of client announcements, programs, projects, and activities.
- Coordinate with communications team on strategic initiatives and amplification strategies.
Duties may vary based on required education and experience level required for the role.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience. Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required with verbal and written fluency in English
- Must be able to receive and maintain a federal security clearance (public trust level)
- Must be based in Washington, D.C. This onsite role will report to the federal client location daily.
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles and practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior federal contracting experience is preferred.
- Experience in the energy sector preferred.
