About this role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will own billing and collections activities across our global B2B customer base and help support a growing volume and complexity of customer accounts and transactions. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Own core quote-to-cash activities, including sales order creation and invoice issuance based on executed contracts.
- Manage collections, monitor aging, and work with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and reduce overdue balances.
- Process AR transactions, including cash application, credits, refunds, and account adjustments, while maintaining an accurate ledger.
- Support customer onboarding in billing and procurement portals and maintain required vendor and tax documentation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for billing, statement, and payment-related inquiries.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve disputes and improve collection efficiency.
- Take part in implementing new processes, systems, and procedures to support scale, improve efficiency, and strengthen controls.
- Bring an affinity for innovation and continuous improvement across AR workflows.
- Apply relevant sales tax and VAT requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
- Track and report AR and collections performance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on AR and collections experience; experience in B2B SaaS or a high-growth tech company is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Comfortable operating in a changing environment and able to adapt quickly to new processes and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidently operate spreadsheets and office productivity tools, including Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English, written and verbal.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems; NetSuite and Salesforce are an advantage.
