More specifically, the responsibilities of temporary 12‑month Member Payroll Coordinator are:
- Prepares advance payroll and the final monthly payroll for members in Québec.
- Gathers the volumes of milk delivered by members.
- Verifies data accuracy (quantity, quality, delivery dates).
- Corrects discrepancies or anomalies.
- Analyzes milk payment processes and systems to meet members’ needs.
- Calculates the amount to be paid based on market prices, quality premiums, possible penalties, and provincial or contractual specifics.
- Integrates adjustments related to quotas, government programs, or special agreements.
- Processes data and generates payments; generates payment statements; prepares files for bank transfers or cheque issuance
- Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts; generates reports.
- Collaborates, provides expertise, and actively participates in the development of special team projects, including the overhaul of the member payroll and capital management IT system.
- Prepares test scenarios, performs acceptance testing of IT modifications, and ensures the deployment of changes made to the milk and capital payroll modules.
- Actively participates in the analysis, optimization, and development of processes and modules related to milk and capital payroll, in collaboration with the IT team.
- Provides support regarding member registry and capital terms, including updating member data in GELS, managing capital movements in the GELS application, generating duplicate slips, etc.
- Takes Agropur’s regulations and policies into account and applies them in daily work.

- College Diploma.
- 4 years of experience in a similar role, such as payroll administrator or accounting clerk.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
