AfterQuery is hiring a Growth Associate to architect and scale the expert supply engine powering frontier AI training. You will own both manual and automated acquisition pipelines to grow our expert network from 100K to hundreds of thousands and beyond. This role blends GTM automation engineering, talent acquisition, operational excellence, and distribution.This is not a typical “growth” role. It is a technical, operational, and strategic position working directly with our founding team. You will design scalable systems, run experiments, recruit elite experts and operators, build automation stacks, and drive brand amplification.Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 plus bonusesCompany OverviewAfterQuery is a research lab investigating the boundaries and capabilities of artificial intelligence through novel datasets and experimentation. Our customers are the foundation model labs, and we serve all of the frontier AI labs.We are based in San Francisco, CA, and have raised funding from top investors, including Y Combinator and BoxGroup, ex-partners from Lightspeed and Index Ventures, and senior leadership at Google DeepMind and Meta GenAI.Our founding team brings backgrounds from Jane Street, Meta, Citadel Securities, Google, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Silver Lake, Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR), and Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL).ResponsibilitiesBuild, optimize, and scale automated expert sourcing pipelinesLeverage LinkedIn and similar platforms to identify and bring on professionals from diverse industriesManage concurrent recruiting workflows to deliver high volumes of qualified expertsRequired QualificationsExperience scaling talent networks or marketplaces, experience in outbound sales/lead generation, or experience in outbound sales/lead generationDemonstrated track record of elite operational executionAnalytical rigor; comfort with funnel modeling and pipeline analyticsExceptional written and verbal communicationEvidence of high agency, resourcefulness, and competitive drivePreferred QualificationsProficiency with automation/GTM tooling (Clay, Instantly, Apollo, Zapier, scripts, scrapers)Willingness to operate in a 6–7 day startup cadencePassion for frontier AI and ambition to build category-defining systems
