Position Overview

Affirmative Parenting Solutions, LLC is seeking a reliable, compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA services to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is an excellent role for someone who wants consistent afternoon hours, strong clinical support, and meaningful, relationship-based work with a family who values collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy in the home.
  • Implement behavior and skill acquisition programs developed by a BCBA.
  • Collect accurate session data and contribute to clinical decision-making.
  • Teach and reinforce communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
  • Support behavior reduction strategies with professionalism and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and caregivers to promote generalization.
  • Complete timely, objective session documentation aligned with clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass background and employment eligibility requirements.
  • Strong professionalism, reliability, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing in-home services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working with children with autism or related developmental needs.
  • Familiarity with ABA teaching strategies and data collection.
