About this role
Job Title: BCBA Caregiver Coach | No RBT Management. Pure Impact.
Compensation: $85.00 / hour (1099 Contractor)
Location: Texas (Hybrid: Telehealth required, In-Person highly preferred)
Tired of Managing Caseloads and Directing RBTs All Day?
Let’s be honest: most BCBA positions trap you behind endless scheduling, staff management, and rigid billing constraints. You spent years mastering behavior analysis, but how much time do you actually get to spend changing family dynamics at the root?
At Affirmative Parenting Solutions, we do things differently.
We cut out the middleman. No managing RBTs. No 40-hour direct client caseloads. Just high-impact, 1-on-1 Caregiver Coaching that empowers parents to lead the charge in their own homes. We combine solid behavioral science with neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed practices—helping parents move past stress and build actual connection with their kids.
If you’re looking for high-rate flexibility ($85/hr), complete control over your schedule, and the freedom to focus purely on parent empowerment, this is where you belong.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- 100% Focused on Parent Coaching: Your clinical genius goes directly to the people who need it most—the parents.
- True Flexibility: Design your own schedule around your life.
- No Direct Tech Management: Zero time spent managing, training, or scheduling technicians.
- Culture of Dignity: We practice behavior analysis that respects neurodiversity, honors family values, and rejects rigid, one-size-fits-all mandates.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Partner with Parents: Lead 1:1 coaching sessions (virtually and in-person) that break down complex behavioral strategies into realistic, practical daily routines.
- Build Tailored Guidance Plans: Design strengths-based plans that fit the family’s real-world dynamic—not a hypothetical textbook setup.
- Empower, Don't Lecture: Teach parents why behaviors happen and give them the confidence to handle tough moments without needing a professional in the room forever.
- Track True Progress: Focus on meaningful family metrics, adjusting strategies based on real caregiver feedback and real-world results.
What We’re Looking For
- The Essentials: Current BCBA certification in good standing + an active Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license through TDLR.
- Location: Based in Texas. While virtual coaching is core to our model, in-person capability/preference for local family touchpoints makes you stand out.
- The Right Mindset: You treat parents as equal partners, communicate without heavy clinical jargon, and bring deep empathy to tough family situations.
- Experience: At least 2 years post-certification with a heavy focus on parent consultation and family-centered coaching.
