What You’ll Do
Patient Care
- Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and individualized nutrition counseling.
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop care plans.
- Support patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
- Track patient progress and adjust nutrition plans to improve outcomes.
Collaborative Care
- Partner with primary care providers and care teams to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in case reviews and population health initiatives.
- Contribute nutrition expertise to chronic disease management programs.
Education & Outreach
- Lead nutrition education sessions and group classes.
- Promote healthy lifestyle changes and disease prevention.
- Support community outreach and health promotion activities.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program. or related field.
- Completion of a dietic internship with an accredited program.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical, outpatient, community health, or hospital setting.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in North Carolina.
