About this role
As an Accounting Services Intern, you will join a collaborative and supportive team environment where you’ll assist with accounting and consulting engagements while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience. Position Type: Internship
Location: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel may be required
Qualifications:
- Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Undergraduate degree completed prior to start of internship or in the final year of undergraduate degree plan
- Actively working toward meeting education requirement for CPA certification and plans in place to facilitate passing the CPA exams
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Travel may be required
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on accounting and consulting engagements
- Assist team members in all aspects of client engagements including account reconciliations, general ledger entries, analytics and forecasting
- Other duties as needed and assigned
Expectations:
- Be knowledgeable on a first-year staff level by the conclusion of the internship
- At conclusion of internship there may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position with the firm
