Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care - Bellevue is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide quality in-home care for clients in Woodinville, WA. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being during the scheduled shift of 10 AM - 3 PM on Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including hygiene and mobility.
• Prepare and serve meals, and assist with medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Must be available for Thursday shifts from 10 AM to 3 PM.
• Background check and references required.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
