Job Description:

The Palantir Platform Engineer assists with integrating custom ETL workflows into the Palantir platform. This includes connecting ETL conditioners to Palantir tooling to increase observability, accelerating data conditioning efforts, and ensuring stakeholders have full insight and knowledge into each step of the transformation process. The Palantir Platform Engineer also uses AI to augment pipelines, increasing the speed and efficiency of data processing efforts while also ensuring to validate products prior to integration into analytics tools for data exploitation.

Your focus on data governance and validation will be essential as you prepare products for integration into advanced analytics tools, ensuring data quality and reliability. Experience with DevOps practices will be valuable as you manage deployment and operational aspects of the platform, while your familiarity with Palantir Foundry and ontology modeling will help you navigate complex data environments. Success in this role will be supported by a strong background in building scalable ETL solutions, implementing monitoring frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable data insights.

What you'll do

  • Connect ETL conditioners to Palantir tooling, which enhances observability and accelerates data conditioning efforts.
  • Ensure that stakeholders maintain comprehensive insight into each phase of the transformation process, leveraging your expertise in data ontology, logging, and monitoring.
  • Utilizing your skills in PySpark and Python, you will design and implement robust data pipelines that support seamless data flow and transformation.
  • Harness AI to augment and optimize data pipelines, driving greater speed and efficiency in processing large datasets.

Here is what you'll need:

  • 8+ years of experience with DevOps practices or a related field.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Palantir Foundry
    • Strong understanding of Ontology and Data Ontology
    • Expertise in building and integrating ETL Pipelines
    • Proficiency in PySpark and Python
    • Experience with Logging and Monitoring solutions
    • Knowledge of Data Governance best practices
    • Experience leveraging AI to augment data pipelines
    • Strong skills in Validation of data products

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience connecting ETL conditioners to Palantir tooling
  • Background in increasing observability and accelerating data conditioning
  • Experience ensuring end-to-end insight into data transformation processes
  • Familiarity with integrating validated products into analytics tools for data exploitation

Security clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
