What You'll Do

As Project Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for delivering complex custom-engineered solutions for our global customers. This role combines people leadership, project execution, and technical oversight, making it ideal for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys both developing talent and solving challenging engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee growth and career development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership in resolving team challenges and removing obstacles to success.

Drive Engineering Project Execution

  • Coordinate engineering priorities and resources across multiple customer projects.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.
  • Monitor schedules, project milestones, and departmental performance metrics.
  • Support project managers and cross-functional teams to achieve customer commitments.

Champion Technical Excellence

  • Lead design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design, Electrical Controls, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams.
  • Assist in resolving manufacturing and product-related engineering challenges.
  • Verify the accuracy and organization of engineering documentation and deliverables.

Contribute to Business Growth

  • Support engineering labor estimates and proposal development activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Help drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and directing engineering teams.
  • Proven experience coordinating engineering priorities, workloads, and project execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting engineered products, custom equipment, machinery, or manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, sanitary process, or piping systems industries.
  • Experience supporting the design, manufacture, testing, and commissioning of custom process equipment.
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems related to bioprocess applications.
  • Experience developing engineering estimates for customer proposals.
  • Background working in customer-driven, engineered-to-order environments.
