Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist a pleasant senior couple in Plano, TX (75075).
Both clients are living with dementia but remain independently functioning and active in their daily lives. They may occasionally become confused; however, they are consistently oriented to self, place, and time. We are looking for a caregiver who can provide support, structure, and encouragement while promoting independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities Include:
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to doctor's appointments
- Transportation to social activities and outings with friends
- Daily meal and food preparation
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Promoting a safe, healthy, and organized home environment
- Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
- Communicating changes, concerns, or observations to the care team
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with dementia preferred
- Dependable, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to encourage independence while providing appropriate support
Schedule:
- Sunday – Wednesday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay:
- $19.00 per hour
