About this role

Job Description:

Abacus Intel is seeking a UI/UX Designer to establish and lead design standards across its product portfolio. This 

position is responsible for designing and prototyping new product features, conducting QA testing on interfaces 

and user flows prior to and during product launches to ensure design integrity and usability, and developing and 

maintaining a shared design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across all products. This is the first 

dedicated design position within the organization and carries responsibility for establishing design practices and 

standards from inception.

Responsibilities:

• Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for our consumer-facing website and digital products

• Collaborate with marketing to optimize landing pages, user flows, and conversion paths

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze behavioral data to inform design decisions

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with brand and business goals

• Continuously improve website performance through A/B testing, UX analysis, and iterative design

• Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design and UX best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and shared libraries

• Comfort working directly with engineers through implementation and design QA

• Experience running usability tests and translating findings into design changes

• Ability to work independently and set priorities with limited design oversight

• Working knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), and how designs translate into HTML/CSS

Job Type: Full-time ONSITE Monday to Friday
