Position Summary

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support IT and business initiatives for a high-visibility federal law-enforcement customer. The Project Manager will lead multiple concurrent projects, coordinate stakeholders, manage schedule/risk/deliverables, and apply Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall practices as appropriate.

Work Arrangement

The position is expected to be onsite in Southwest Washington, DC for the first two months of performance. Thereafter, the anticipated schedule is at least two onsite days per week with up to three telework days, subject to Government direction. USCP may require up to five onsite days per week. The selected candidate must be able to complete required criminal-history, fingerprinting and badging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage up to approximately 10 concurrent projects and coordinate scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.
  • Lead project planning, status reporting, stakeholder coordination and decision tracking.
  • Apply Agile, Kanban and Waterfall methods based on project needs; facilitate appropriate Agile ceremonies.
  • Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams Planner/Planner Premium, SharePoint, ServiceNow and other portfolio/project dashboards.
  • Coordinate requirements, resources, documentation, quality reviews and timely completion of project outputs.
  • Prepare concise customer-ready status information, recommendations, and risk-mitigation actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Current Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM, or comparable recognized Agile credential.
  • Strong federal stakeholder communication, organization, and written/oral briefing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal law-enforcement, legislative-branch, or other high-visibility federal mission experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Teams Planner, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, or comparable work-management tools.

Employment Note

This position is contingent upon contract award and final Government approval/requirements. Compensation within the posted range will depend on relevant experience, education, certifications, and contractual considerations.
