Position Summary

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Junior Records Management Specialist to support federal records inventories, lifecycle management, disposition, transfers, compliance activities, training and reporting.

Work Arrangement

The position is expected to be onsite in Southwest Washington, DC for the first two months of performance. Thereafter, the anticipated schedule is at least two onsite days per week with up to three telework days, subject to Government direction. USCP may require up to five onsite days per week. The selected candidate must be able to complete required criminal-history, fingerprinting and badging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and maintain records inventories and support lifecycle-management activities.
  • Support records transfers, authorized disposition and destruction-list development.
  • Assist with records-management assessments, compliance reviews and corrective actions.
  • Develop communications, newsletters, guidance and training materials.
  • Maintain liaison lists; support meetings, minutes and action tracking.
  • Prepare records-management reports and dashboards and support related business analysis.
  • Support onsite records transport and inventory validation when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of records-management experience.
  • Experience with records inventories, lifecycle/disposition activities and records documentation.
  • Strong organization, written communication and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal records-management experience.
  • Experience with electronic records, SharePoint/Microsoft 365 or records repositories.
  • Records-management training or certification.

Employment Note

This position is contingent upon contract award and final Government approval/requirements. Compensation within the posted range will depend on relevant experience, education, certifications, and contractual considerations.
