The SUD Therapist is expected to provide intensive clinical therapeutic services to adults with identified substance abuse diagnosis. This service provides structured individual and group addiction activities and are provided at an outpatient program designed to assist adult a time-limited, multi-faceted approach treatment service for adults to begin recovery and learn skills for recovery maintenance. These services are provided during day and evening hours to enable beneficiaries to maintain residence in their community, continue to work or go to school, and to be a part of their family life.
Responsibilities Include
Ensure services meet the service definition of Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) and Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Program (SACOT)
Complete the client admission process
Complete admissions interviews for new consumers; work with SUD Team Lead to develop and coordinate initial assessment.
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and make appropriate service recommendations
Complete consumer admission intake packet
Participate in daily organizational staff meetings and treatment planning meetings to discuss consumer progress and changing needs
Develop group materials and lessons plans.
Monitor group sessions for best practice; lead groups
Basic Requirements
Ability to perform tasks on the computer including working with Microsoft 360, Excel, Word and other basic programs.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance coverage and reliable transportation
Pass criminal background check and other regulatory checks
Provide proof of your education

Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements: LCAS, LCASA
Resume must include degree earned (major & minor), graduation month & year, relevant employment dates including month and year, and populations served.
