Established in 1965, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and exploring the history, environment, and culture of the entire Chesapeake Bay region, and making this resource available to all. Every aspect of fulfilling this mission is driven by CBMM’s values of relevancy, authenticity, and stewardship, along with a commitment to providing engaging guest experiences and transformative educational programming, all while serving as a vital community partner.

A living memorial to the Holocaust, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum inspires citizens and leaders worldwide to confront hatred, prevent genocide, and promote human dignity. With unique power and authenticity, the Museum teaches millions of people each year about the dangers of unchecked hatred and the need to prevent genocide. And we encourage them to act, cultivating a sense of moral responsibility among our citizens so that they will respond to the monumental challenges that confront our world. Today we face an alarming rise in Holocaust denial and antisemitism—even in the very lands where the Holocaust happened—as well as genocide and threats of genocide in other parts of the world. An LLC of the George Kaiser Family Foundation, the American Song Archives is dedicated to preserving the legacy of America’s most enduring and inspiring songwriters. The American Song Archives manages, preserves, and provides access to countless treasures of American creativity from the core collections of the Woody Guthrie Archives and the Bob Dylan Archive, as well as the collections of Mitch Blank, Ron Cohen, Cynthia Gooding, Jules Halfant, Stetson Kennedy, Harold Leventhal, Phil Ochs, Tom Paxton and Dick Weissman. The American Song Archives also holds the Izzy Young Library and Harry Smith Library and LP Collection.

Championing the possibilities of new ideas in contemporary art since opening in 1970, Serpentine has presented pioneering exhibitions for almost half a century, showing a wide range of work from emerging practitioners to the most internationally recognised artists of our time, providing a place for them to experiment and an open platform for them to be seen and heard.
