CreativeMode

CreativeMode enables players to create mods for their favorite video games without coding, starting with Minecraft. Video games have evolved from fixed, finished products into living worlds shaped by players, developers, and pop culture. We’re taking that evolution to its next stage by giving every player the power of a game studio at their fingertips. In just our first three months, we built the most powerful no-code modding platform ever for Minecraft and created a double digit percentage of all mods ever released. We're building the flagship product in an entirely new category of gaming tools. And Minecraft is only the beginning.TechWe're built on a modern and developer friendly tech stack (all three founders have a technical background and write code daily). Our frontend is in Typescript/NextJS. Our backend server is in Go and our backend AI stack is in Python and built on top of a custom agentic framework (we used to build production AI agents). We deploy on Vercel and Kubernetes. We also have an Electron desktop application.FoundersColeman Smith Co-founder and CPO of CreativeMode. Worked as a software engineer at Crusoe on the Power and Mining team focused on capturing stranded energy and reducing carbon emissions. Studied CS at Stanford, with an undergrad focus on Systems and a coterm in the AI subtrack.Wilson Spearman Wilson is co-founder and CEO of CreativeMode. Before CreativeMode, Wilson was a SWE working on building the climate-aligned cloud at Crusoe. Prior to that, he worked at Settle as a product engineer building new purchase order and AP workflows for CPG brands. Wilson studied CS at MIT with focus on systems. He's originally from upstate South Carolina.Jeffrey Tsaw Jeffrey is co-founder and CTO of CreativeMode. Previously, Jeffrey worked as a Software Engineer at Crusoe, where he helped run the Bitcoin mining team alongside Coleman and Wilson. He studied ECE at CMU where he received his BS and MS, and is originally from Hong Kong.
